For me, watching anyone of the countless driveling movies which have been pumped out by studios in the name of entertainment over the past decade is, for me, akin to having teeth pulled. Let me say at the very beginning of this review, I loathe super hero movies. The Indian Blu-ray release is uncut (despite also showing an A certificate on the back cover).

The visual cuts were replaced with zoomed in versions of the same sequences and hence there is no change in the duration of the movie except for an anti-smoking PSA added voluntary that added exactly 2 minutes to the movie, changing the total duration to a 110 minutes and 47 seconds, as per the CBFC's list of edits. The general censorship of violence/sex/swearing totaled 3 minutes and 53 seconds. Static, scrolling messages were also added whenever a character is shown smoking.

Now, if and when they do a Monet figure I hope they understand that she is on the curvy side as well as a darker skin tone. The character hasn't been around that long and I don't think it's ever been established that she is supposed to have a particular body style. Since then though most other artists have portrayed her much more slender and less curvaceous. He's a little bit old school and still unapologetically enjoys the female form. I think she's most recognizable through Bachalo's run through X-Men, and we all know how notorious he is for those ultra slim waists and abnormally large chesticles. Also, the complaints of the certain lack of curves argument I've heard from some is valid but I think it's mostly due to perspective of art styles. While it does look a bit light, it also is pretty apparent that the complexion is a bit darker than what is considered the standard Caucasian character. I'm not all that concerned about the skin tone. I like that they actually included two gun hands and the bionic arms give me some hope that we will someday see a Yo-Yo figure.

That's a character that I've always wanted but never even allowed myself to get my hopes up that it would ever happen.
